Dont Bully My Breed is a registered 501c3 non-profit animal rescue and advocacy organization, primarily focusing on saving 'pitbull' type dogs from animal controls and kill shelters and placing them in foster homes located all over the state of Illinois and Northwest Indiana. We are a 100% volunteer organization and foster-based network operating solely on the generous donations we receive from our supporters and funds we raise through events and adoptions, all of which goes right back to the dogs. We are committed to rescue, rehabilitate, and when they are ready, re-home the many bully breed dogs in need into loving forever homes.

While our mailing address is Peoria, we have volunteers in both Central IL, the Chicagoland area, and from as far away as Oregon. We are a small core team of 5 main volunteers who all have "full-time" regular jobs and operate the rescue as a passion together. We partner with many respected area trainers who only use positive based, force-free training methods & approaches. We also have strong relationships with several local veterinarian offices who help take wonderful care of our adoptables until their forever homes are found.
